While the magazine is primarily dedicated to Oilheating industry news and information, the article serves as a great example of how many of our customers are using our search engine marketing services and advanced tools (online ordering, bill payment, online surveys, scheduling) to drive traffic to their websites.

As more and more of our customers begin using our eCommerce tools we’ve had several requests for a easy way to email customers directly from the “Dashboard/Control Panel” while viewing orders. This morning we released a new tool that allows you to do just that!
When logged into your Dashboard account and viewing order/payment information from a customer you will find this new feature at the bottom of the order information receipt. To email the customer, simply type in your message and click send! The customer will be emailed right away and your message will be stored in the order information history for future reference.
If you’re not currently setup to accept online payments or orders from your customers just give us a call!

At your request, we’ve created a new feature for our heating oil customers! You are now able to specify minimum order quantities for each zip code locations. We hope this addition will solve a few issues. The most obvious is restricting customers in far-away lands from placing online orders for quantities you would rather not send a truck out for delivery to. Second, several of you offer a lower minimum order quantity for zip codes very close to home.
If a customer selects an order quantity that is below the required level, they will be notified of the minimum requirement for that location before they can proceed with the order.
To use this feature, login to the web site customer “Dashboard” at http://www.energywebsolutions.net and click the “Service Area” tag.
By default, the minimum quantity set under the “heating oil” tab is used unless a different minimum has been specified.
